TNE, student engagement and TEQSA update

Abstract

TEQSA’s mission is to quality assure and regulate Australia’s higher education sector by protecting its reputation and safeguarding the student experience. TEQSA’s ‘International Engagement Strategy 2016-2020’ builds on this mission. This session will provide an update on TEQSA’s activities with its international quality assurance agency partners and will provide an update on its transnational activities and projects. A particular feature of the presentation will be a focus on student engagement and how TEQSA is considering student engagement in transnational education through a pilot project in Singapore

Learning objectives

This presentation will provide an update on the implementation of TEQSA's International Engagement Strategy and the regulator's strengthening focus on student engagement and how this is being considered in a TNE context.
